Perlin's Kosher Vegetarian Restaurant, Cherry Hill

As you've probably noticed, Israeli/Mediterranean food is not found on every corner in South Jersey. Nor are there many exclusively vegetarian restaurants. Ditto for kosher options.

Perlin's Kosher Vegetarian Restaurant fulfills all three of those categories in one. Located at 2442 Rt 38 in Cherry Hill, Perlin's is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Cherry Hill Mall. It's on the North side of Route 38, like the mall, but about a mile or so East of the mall. It's in a small strip center right before the circle where Kaighn Ave (Rte 38) meets Church Rd.

Having ordered Perlin's food for a recent business lunch meeting, we were all quite pleased with the results. The order was ready for pick up right on time and all the food items were delicious and authentic. The falafel was fluffy and tasty, the hummus was smooth and creamy, and the salads were fresh and crunchy. A delightful meal all around.

Pricing is probably a tad more than what we're used to in this area, but a good, filling lunch for two can be had for under $25 or so. The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and cheery on the inside and offers seating for lunch and dinner.

Be sure to check their hours of operation before you go since they do close at 3pm on Friday and are closed all day Saturday in observance of Shabbat.

To place your order call (856)755-1116.
