Indian Spring Country Club, Marlton

If you're a Marlton resident (or even if you're not) and looking to play some golf, swing on over to Indian Spring Country Club in Marlton (Evesham). The course sits at 115 South Elmwood Road, and is bordered by Main Street on its northern side. It's about 5-10 minutes east of Route 73, and about 5 minutes south of Route 70 in Burlington County.

The course had some troubles in years past but seems to have gotten its act together. Indian Spring CC is owned by the township of Evesham, but managed by Billy Casper Golf. Evesham residents play for a discounted rate, which comes out to about five or six dollars off the non-resident rate depending on when you play. It's a reasonably priced course and you are allowed to walk or ride, so you can save a few bucks and get some exercise by walking, if you're up for it.

All in all the course is in pretty good shape, there are some challenging holes, and pace of play generally moves well. Carts are generally allowed on the fairway at 90 degrees. There's also a driving range if you want to warm up beforehand or need some practice. I'd say it's an above average course and provides good bang for your buck.

In addition, they have refurbished the clubhouse where there are often weddings and events held, and there are frequent golf outings that are held throughout the year. It's a nice setting for a big event.
