People's Pizza, Marlton

People's Pizza sits in Evesham Plaza in the same strip center as Kim's Dutch Cleaners, Game Stop, and a few other establishments. It's on the southeast corner of the intersection of Cropwell and Route 70. Easy to find.

My wife and I ate there recently on a drizzly Sunday night for the first time. I can't say it was amazing food, but at the same time I left pretty much content. The restaurant itself is a typical neighborhood Italian restaurant/pizza place with a lot of the business focused around takeout, but still plenty of seats to eat-in. The food was unremarkable, though moderately priced (we happened to get there in time for their early bird menu, so that helped keep the bill low), and it was filling. The meal came with a basket of garlic bread which was pretty good. But then again, I'm a bread kind of guy and I'll eat any starchy food!

When we were there the place was pretty quiet, save for a few sets of folks coming in to pickup their takeout food. All in all it's a decent place to go for a pizza or basic Italian meal, and it probably does a pretty good lunchtime business, I would think.
