Medport Diner, Medford

The Medport Diner is a throwback diner on bustling Route 70 East and Old Marlton Pike in Medford. Its unassuming, small, quirky shape is a recognizable restaurant in this ever-modernizing Burlington County township. And by "ever-modernizing", I mean the growth of chain restaurants and stores, which is a fairly new phenomenon in Medford. Kinda sad, but that's another story.

I recently went there for the first time for a brief breakfast before playing basketball so I only got a small order, but I must say it was quite good... A heated grilled cinnamon bun well coated in butter really hit the spot!

All in all, this is a prototypical South Jersey diner and is worth a stop if you're in the vicinity or if you're on one of those diner tours that some people do. They've got all the breakfast standby's, and also serve a variety of foods for lunch and dinner, as would be expected. Here's the diner's menu if you're so inclined for a preview.

I don't know why you'd want to call the Medport Diner, but in the event you do, here's their digits! (609) 654-4001

I agree with the comment about the continued growth of chains. It's important to support local places. Glad to find your site!
