Billy's Hen House, Cherry Hill

Sitting in a humble strip mall off of Route 70, going east, just before the road splits to Old Marlton Pike in Cherry Hill, you can find Billy's Hen House.

Billy's Hen House name says it all: they serve chicken, chicken, and more chicken! From chicken wings to pretzel chicken to beercan chicken, they've got a great range of poultry platters. They also do serve burgers, ribs, and other great food (even salads) to enjoy during your favorite sporting event.

Speaking of sports, the walls are adorned with a variety of sports paraphenalia, and several TV screens are available to watch the game while you eat. You can also order as take-out or delivery. Prices are quite reasonable and portions are quite generous. The restaurant does not have a liquor license but you are encouraged to bring your own beer or other adult beverages. (Note that a liquor store sits a few doors down if you forget to bring your own.)

All in all, this restaurant joint serves up some good "sports food", without exorbitant prices or long waits for your food. For more information, check out Billy's web site or call 856-751-6672.

Unfortunately, they've closed. This spot will soon be a Fat Jack's BBQ.

Anybody know why they closed? Did they just move or go bankrupt? God, did I love their BBQ sauce & cheese steaks.
