Sarcone's Deli, Cherry Hill

Sarcone's Deli is a South Philly import, having opened two new locations in Cherry Hill, one across from Wegman's in Cherry Hill on Haddonfield Rd., the other on westbound Route 70, just past the Exxon station on Springdale Rd., in a shopping center with a Healthy Back store, and right next to the old standby, Woodstock Trading Co. (To get to this latter location coming from the West, your best bet is to make the jug handle on Rte. 70 to go to Springdale Rd. North. You will cross back over 70, and eventually come to the light at Springdale and Greentree. Make a right on to Springdale, then make your next right onto Rte. 70 and the deli will be on your righthand sided about a block up.)

The Cherry Hill Sarcone's stores are a spinoff of the original bakery and feature their classic hoagie rolls and breads, and they now serve a diverse menu of hoagies and other sandwiches and pizza. The food is fresh and filling and you can eat in or take out (and if you take out you may want to call ahead for faster service). The Sarcone's Deli website is kind of scattershot and really only talks about the Philly store (as of this post's publishing).

All in all you'll find Sarcone's hoagies to be among the best in South Jersey, though perhaps a bit pricier to boot.

To call in your order or get more info, you can reach the one at 926 Haddonfield Rd. at (856) 488-4880, or 1888 Marlton Pike at (856) 489-1888.
